EDIT: Here is what I found out. After talking to a couple different people that knew the story. Bob was really excited about this design. He was looking for a new logo that payed tribute to Errols logging history & being the head of the Androscoggin River. The star is Errols location on the map. The couple dancing while log rolling, was just for fun. A reminder of when dancing was favorite past-time of many.

Looking for some insight: I found this sticker at the store. Does anyone that knew Bob, know anything about it? I am assuming the couple log rolling is a reference to Errol's logging history on the Androscoggin River. Do any of you know the thoughts behind this logo?

Good Morning!

The last few mornings my inbox has been flooded with messages. Notes and questions about the store from friends coming to Errol this weekend. I am grateful for all the excitement and support the store is generating. I want to, but sometimes I may not be able to respond to all the inquiries, so here is a bit of info that might help!

Hours: Open every day 7AM-7PM 

What to we have: Groceries: produce, pantry staples, meats, frozen goods, dairy, snacks, gluten-free groceries, convenience items, natural/organic options, ice, worms (for fishing), we have beer and wine, propane exchange, lottery, ice cream, breads, a small selection of bird seed & grains, and so on.

We have meats, but we are not a butcher shop.

The cafe: it's still under construction. We'll be open sometime this summer with coffee & sandwiches and such. Trust me, we are just as anxious as you are. It's been 8 long months since we closed the Damm House Cafe, and I'm yearning for the smell of Carrabassett Coffee in the air!

We look forward to seeing everyone. 😊

Here is a picture of my grandfather, we all call him Tata. My grandparents owned the Errol General Store back in the 70's, he was also the Postmaster.
