The City of Escalante has asked residents to boil tap water before use due to muddy water in the system.

👉 They recommend boiling water for at least 1 minute before drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. Bottled water is also a safe option.

Have you ever wanted to ask a geologist about Bryce Canyon? This weekend during GeoFest, you'll get your chance! At 8 am on Friday and Saturday, a geologist will be stationed at Sunset Point to answer all your rocky questions.

From 2 pm to 5 pm daily you can catch presentations on a wide range of geology topics in the Visitor Center theater. Speakers will be discussing fossils, dinosaurs, regional geology, and more! Keynote programs will be given at 8 pm on Friday and Saturday at the outdoor theater.
