Working on installing some lattice under the deck. It was a race against time, trying to get it done before plants popped. However, rain and cold temps have kept me indoors and in my absence, the tiger lilies have popped up. I hope they aren't too damaged when I can finally get put there and complete the project. Photo taken mid-June 2022. I actually haven't bought any potted plants yet. 🤷‍♀️

These are the places I run to when I need to refresh my soul. If I never make it to Isle Royale, I am okay with that as much of the terrain and shoreline is the same. So if you see me post a photo of a rocky shoreline, know that I sought that out becuase of it's rare beauty and because of the lack of people.. The people that you do bump into, like in Copper Harbor are truly the best kind of people.

A rope dangles on a makeshift swing made from an old silo, it's wooden barn long ago gave way to age. I wonder if they ever saw the dancing lights in the sky, it's heartbeat is the song of Hiawatha.
