Our San Francisco 360 team supported the acclaimed Asian Art Museum’s annual Gala, crafting bespoke elements and a tailored blend of audio, lighting, and video for each space to bring Harlene Events and the Asian Art Museum’s creative vision to life.

Outside, dramatic lighting showcased the museum’s historic architecture and the evening’s sponsor, Lexus. Inside reflected this year’s theme of femininity and power, signifying a new dawn of leadership for the organization.

Guests entered by ascending a lush, garden-draped staircase that set the mood. Feminine motifs continued throughout the event: the striking lotus projection mapping in the Samsung Hall, an illuminated dress activation in the court, and custom floating floral-bouquet cubes that added elegance to the main tent.

Each area was designed with multiple transitions and looks that aligned with the evening’s program. A truly stunning gala for a remarkable San Francisco institution.

Sound Image supplies Linkin Park’s From Zero Tour

“Our number one priority is establishing a sound that can be replicated in every city and in every stadium for fans across the world,” explained Tour Director Jim Digby. “Furthermore, we need professional crew who are as excited as us to be working on this tour, which is such a special project. Our artist wants to ensure that the essence of Linkin Park’s songwriting skills, the music that is embedded within them, is accurately represented through the PA sound and through the energy of their live shows. We are all tasked with keeping true to their music and making it sound great again today.”

FOH Engineer Jim Ebdon added, “It’s nice to have been asked to work with such a legacy artist because their fans are quite amazing. Jim Digby has put the best crew together, and it’s a very healthy situation. You can’t often say that in touring, but here, people are prioritised. Jim is so great at recognising if we need some morale. And the band is so appreciative of their crew that it’s a refreshing, positive change. When the people on stage are interested in what you do, and when the crew are so conscientious in their jobs, it makes the difference.”

The veteran client and country icons, Rascal Flatts, completed their first tour in five years. The return to live circuit brought back the Sound Image team, overseen by Nashville-based Account Executive Everett Lybolt, who has had a relationship with the band for almost the entirety of their career. The band’s 25th anniversary tour is in support of the collaborative album ‘Life Is a Highway: Refueled Duets’.

For the tour, heading up monitors and balancing Audio Crew Chief duties for the team is Stuart Delk, a longtime Rascal Flatts touring crew member who relishes working for both the artist and the vendor. “Having inside access to the Sound Image and Clair Global network, I can leave the prep phase from the shop with absolute confidence that the tour will be technically seamless in the audio department.”

Josh “Dude” Marcus, Production Manager, commented: “Working with this artist has been incredible. To have a successful tour, it all starts at the top and trickles down. Joining us with experience, teamwork, and leadership, Sound Image continues to prove that these are the cornerstones for their staff. They have provided an exceptional team and product which allows us to operate efficiently and effectively, day in and out.”

Aftershock Festival surpassed numbers and continued to raise the bar for fans. The Northern California festival brought on Sound Image to provide audio for the four days and four stages of rock, punk, and metal performances.

Our dedicated crew delivered power and clarity day after day, supporting a diverse lineup, shifting weather, and expansive festival grounds. They deployed an L-Acoustics system with more than 180 boxes for the Aftershock stage, and d&b audiotechnik systems totaling nearly 300 boxes for the Shockwave, Coors Light, and DWP stages. Every system was paired with Avid consoles managed by our team.

A big win and the perfect way to wrap up our year with Danny Wimmer Presents. Thank you!

Rotating around the world, this year’s eighth edition of the Laver Cup was held at the Chase Center in San Francisco. Six of the best men’s tennis players from Europe went up against six of their counterparts from the rest of the world over three days of team competition. Captain Andre Agassi helped lead Team World to a win and celebrated with the excited crowd.

Sound Image supported the tournament with a control package integrated into the house PA, with delay feeds to the backstage provided Meyer Sound system for interviews and announcements. The intricate program required a two-day installation and five days of testing ahead of the three-day event.

Celebrating the Grateful Dead’s 60th Anniversary steps from Oracle Park, Pier 48 held The Heart of Town three-night concert series hosted by Grahame Lesh & Friends. Sound Image provided audio, lighting, and project management by seamlessly coordinating with all the production vendors.

The historic Pier in San Francisco was outfitted with a Meyer Sound PANTHER line array as the main PA, delivering full-range coverage across the audience. LEOPARD compact line arrays and X40 point-source loudspeakers were strategically deployed as delay systems to extend clarity and intelligibility throughout the length of the deep venue and in the vendor spaces.

Enhancing the evolving nightly lineup, moving lights shifted with the performances and highlighted the music experience. Lighting washed over the crowd, through the fog, flowed down the walls and columns, and swept across the vendors, all immersed in projections and dancing tapestries.

Our teams delivered for this intrinsically San Franciscan special event.

More than 50 Sound Image San Francisco personnel provided audio, lighting, video, staging, and project management for Festival Napa Valley's 2025 Summer Season. Expanding across the Napa Valley region, our teams deployed a range of systems and disciplines at 20 locations for over 30 events in just 12 days.

The largest events held at Charles Krug Winery saw seven days of performances ranging from opera to dance to Disney’s Fantasia with a live orchestra, and the annual Arts for All Gala at Nickel & Nickel, which raised $5 million for the nonprofit.

From the main stage at Charles Krug, hosting over 3,000 guests, to intimate Patron Dinners, like a floating piano performance at Stag’s Leap, our crews seamlessly adapted to deliver bespoke events varying in scale and solutions.

Congratulations on another wonderful year to all the teams, venues, and vendors.
