LOGE Glacier is officially closed. The Inn, restaurant, bar and trails. The property will be for sale.

March 1 ~ 8:30am

It’s quite chilly out here, 21* and the trails are frozen. We are closing today. We will be removing all signs from the trails. We will do so with the snowmobile and drag so there will be some grooming today. We are no longer selling passes, ski at your own risk.

The staff at LOGE Glacier thank you for your patronage and kindness, your smiles and laughter, for helping make Essex and the Izaak such fantastic place to be.

In my opinion, it’s the community of people that play, visit, live and work here that make the Izaak such a special place. It’s the adventures had, the magical moments shared, the memories made. Cheers to you all!

Grooming is in progress. It is softening earlier today. See Nordic Pulse for updates.

We saw our first of the season snow fleas yesterday! Fascinating little arthropods!

The trails are open to the public. There is a private event so the restaurant and bar are closed to the public.

Current Weather: Overcast. We are forecast for a high of 40 with a 50% chance of snow.

We will groom if the surface softens today. It is on the crunchy side at the moment. The trails are looking good. The early afternoon grooming sessions are working out well to set the trails up for the next day.

There is plenty of snow to have fun in whether you are skiing, snowshoeing or taking advantage of the great snowperson making snow when the temps warm up!

The restaurant and bar are closed to the public due to a private event this weekend. Sunday will be the last day we have our machinery on the trails and we will be taking down the signage.

Current Weather: Overcast. We are forecast for a high of 40* with a 30% chance of snow.

The trails are in good shape and have seen light use the past few days. We are grooming when the surface softens later in the morning with the snowmobile and drag.

Due to limited staff we will not be open for grab and go breakfast or lunch today. Dinner will be available from 4pm - 7:30pm with a limited menu.

Tomorrow 2/26 through 3/1 we will be serving food to in house guests only for a private event.

More sun than expected. It is warming up fast. Grooming has gone well and we are doing a lottle more. See Nordic Pulse or the entryway board for most up to date grooming information!

Snow in last 24hrs: half inch
Current Weather: Mostly cloudy. We are forecast for a mostly cloudy day with a 40% chance of snow in the afternoon.

It poured rain yesterday then turned to snow in the early eve. With the snow coming in wet and the temps below freezing last night, it’s crunchy under the newest snow.
We are going to head out with the snowmobile and drag shortly to make that half inch as good as we can!

No new grooming today. The trails saw light use yesterday and are in good shape. It is currently 44*F. We are forecast for a 100% chance of precip.

Current Weather: Mostly clear. We are forecast for a high of 44* and a sunny day.

We did a late grooming session yesterday so the trails would be ready to go this morning. We groomed everything except Lower Essex Rd and Dickey Rd.
The conditions should be great for classic and decent for skate. It is going to be a beauty of a day! See ya out there!y rls

This evening due to the overwhelming amount of guests here for the wedding - we are closing our restaurant from 2pm to 5pm. From 5pm - 7:30pm our restaurant and bar will be taking food orders ONLY for inhouse guests and the wedding party due to staffing.
