Our weekend group of 8 children and 3 adults are super excited to come visit the retreat. I did a mini lesson on the difference between rattle snake and bull snake and what to do if you see a rattler. Bishops castle has been a part of my families life for 18 years. One man's dream, Mr. Bishops senior was so outta this world that many doubted his vision! But he did it until the very end, and his son took over, a promise to keep it alive. Now they are faced with many challenges from a fall his son encountered to an extraordinary fire that bumps up against dreams and reality. Please if you can help keep this out of the box dream alive by sharing or donating 💫 My heart is with my home the place that saved me🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼. Many of you know and love Bishop Castle. Today, the Bishop family is facing an incredibly difficult time, and they need our support.

Daniel Bishop, Jim Bishop’s son and the longtime caretaker of Bishop Castle, was recently seriously injured and is currently recovering in a physical rehabilitation facility. While Daniel focuses on healing, a wildfire is also threatening the castle.

Daniel and his wife are self-employed and depend on Bishop Castle for their livelihood. With Daniel unable to care for the castle and the gift shop currently closed, they have lost a significant source of income at a time when they need it most.

If you are able, please consider making a donation to help support Daniel’s recovery, assist his family during this difficult period, and help sustain Bishop Castle.
