There’s nothing quite like seeing Colorado through the eyes of kids. ❤️

Today we spent the day exploring Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park with our four favorite kiddos from Nebraska.

Trisha braved the drive up Old Fall River Road, and we hiked to the top to take in the incredible views. After that, we grabbed lunch at Antonio’s Real New York Pizza, where the kids were just as excited about the robot delivering our food as they were about the pizza! 🤖🍕

Of course, no trip to Estes Park is complete without a few thrilling rides down the mountain on the Mustang Mountain Coaster.

We wrapped up the day back at the house celebrating Jay and Emma turning 8 years old. 🎉🎂

A day filled with mountain views, laughter, adventure, and making memories we’ll never forget. ❤️🏔️

The nieces and nephews have arrived for a weekend full of adventures! ❤️

We had a fun evening together, and tomorrow we’re heading into Rocky Mountain National Park to see what adventures await.

🐻 Our first bear sighting at Ann’s Chalet! 🏔️

Looks like our newest guest forgot to book his reservation!

Our security camera captured this beautiful visitor taking a leisurely stroll near the patio. It’s always exciting to see Estes Park’s incredible wildlife from a safe distance!

One of the many things that makes staying at Ann’s Chalet so special is never knowing what Mother Nature might have in store. Elk, deer, wild turkeys… and now our first bear caught on camera! 🐾

If you’re lucky enough to spot wildlife during your stay, remember to admire it from a distance and never feed the animals. They may be our neighbors, but they’re still wonderfully wild.
