COVID - 19

Greetings valued guests and friends,

First and foremost, we hope that you and your family are safe and well.

These are unprecedented and unsure times that we all find ourselves confronting. In that context, we are starting to receive many calls and email inquiries concerning upcoming bookings at Glacier Lodge in Estes Park, Colorado. Currently, the Terms and Conditions at the time of booking will continue to be our policy.

We are in a bit of a holding pattern for the next couple of weeks as this extraordinary event unfolds. We will continue to monitor and provide future guidance via email to guests with confirmed bookings.

The good news is "We are not open yet" we have not had overnight guests since October 15, 2019 and we are more than 6 weeks away from our anticipated first guest arrival for 2020. We will continue to monitor and update our procedures, and policy as we progress.

If this becomes a prolonged event, or if recommended guidelines from our local, county, and state officials change our ability to provide certain services we will update guests individually via email. Additional updates will be posted on our

Our May 15 scheduled Opening for 2020 marks our 47th year in the family business.

We are moving forward with plans to open and look forward to welcoming guests to property.

Donations Needed for Double Transplant Expenses
Goal: $30,000

Dear Guests,

As the owner of Glacier Lodge in Estes Park I am making this personal contact to all of our guests, on behalf of a tenured member of my staff.

Minerva Rojas has been an invaluable member of my staff for nearly a decade. She is a single mother of two children. Her son Darrel recently underwent a double organ transplant. Both his liver, and kidneys failed and his life was in jeopardy, without attempting the surgery. Darrel, underwent the life saving transplant about 10 days ago and will remain at Children’s Hospital for more than a month. He and his mother are currently in recovery at Children's Hospital in Denver.

The cost of the surgery and related medical expenses will be more than $30,000. A local dinner event was hosted in Darrel’s honor and raised nearly $6000 to begin covering the costs associated with transplant. Minerva is part of our little Glacier Lodge family and we would like to assist their family by helping to raise funds so that Darrel can recover.
