Up to October 13, 2026, visitors entering Rocky Mountain National Park between 9am and 2pm will need:
• A Rocky Mountain National Park vehicle/entrance pass
• A “Park Access” Timed Entry Permit Reservation
• A printed copy of your timed entry permit displayed on your dashboard

Planning to visit before 9am or after 2pm?
You will still need a valid RMNP vehicle/entrance pass, but a timed entry reservation is not required during those hours.

Missed getting a timed entry pass? You still have options:
• Enter before 9am or after 2pm

Spring in the Rockies never disappoints. ❄️☀️

We made the drive from Boulder to Estes Park today and roads are completely clear. We went from sunshine and beautiful spring weather to a fresh snowfall in the mountains — gotta love Colorado this time of year! The best part?

It’s absolutely beautiful up here right now, and this is a perfect week to sneak away before Rocky Mountain National Park timed-entry reservations begin on May 22.
