🚧 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺!

Construction is moving along, and new phases are underway. Add in summer traffic, and your drive could take longer than expected. Here’s what to know before you go:

🚗 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀
𝗠𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲-𝗪𝗶𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱: Open with delays of 45 minutes or longer. September 8–November 15, the road will close to all traffic between Murie Ranch Road and the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve for road realignment. Death Canyon Road is closed for the season.
𝗧𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁: Open with about 20-minute delays, not including entrance station wait times. Construction on the traffic interchange continues. Menor's Ferry Road is closed on weekdays. Consider using the Moran Entrance to avoid the longest delays.
𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱: Open. Expect 15-minute delays from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and up to 1-hour delays overnight. Temporary traffic lights control wait times. Improvements will correct pavement buckling between Leeks Marina and Lizard Creek Campground.

🥾 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀, 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀
𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱: Partially open. The south route to the lake remains open. The north route is closed all season for accessible trail improvements.
𝗖𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮: Closed for improvements. Please stay out of the construction area.
𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘄: Open, but the area around the T.A. Moulton Barn is closed for construction. Construction will improve accessibility and parking. Please respect all construction fencing.

⏰ Give yourself extra time. Parking lots fill early, and travel times are longer throughout the park during summer. Build some wiggle room into your itinerary and consider stopping in a park pullout for a break. Some feature restrooms, picnic tables, and scenic views. Please note that 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸, 𝗠𝘂𝗱𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘁 may be closed or have reduced access.
