A review from a month long guest in March who doesn’t use social media, here’s what Maia had to stay:

I had the most incredible stay at Erik and Abra’s serene Zen getaway in the woods. Erik, an architect, designed and built this stunning studio tucked away at the back of their property, right next to a gently flowing stream. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to create a peaceful, healing, and nourishing retreat—a quiet oasis right in the heart of Eugene.

I loved feeling completely secluded in nature, while still having all the conveniences of the city at your fingertips. You can DoorDash meals, receive packages, and access all the amenities you need, yet the space itself feels like a world apart. The studio is beautifully designed, with large windows that invite in natural light and the surrounding woods. Falling asleep to the sounds of the stream was pure bliss.

And if you love sweet, friendly dogs, you’ll be delighted by their two Labradoodles. Little Tula quickly befriended me and added an extra touch of joy to my stay.

Whether you’re seeking a private meditative retreat, a romantic getaway, or simply some quiet, healing downtime in nature, this space is absolute perfection. Five stars all the way!
