We're hiring!
As we are in our high season, there are available opportunities to start working with ALKO Hotels.
We're currently looking to hire a couple great breakfast attendants to join our team at our new hotel in the Glenwood area.
Our Breakfast Attendant openings are very comfortable, team-oriented positions working 4-5 days per week. Shifts are 5.5 - 6 hours.
Shifts begin as early as 5:45am and end as late as 12:30pm
Pay is $11.75 and $12.00 after 90 successful probation period.
We'd love to hire dependable workers, whom are also morning persons (that's a big plus).
Here's the description of the job, requirements and preferred qualifications:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the daily breakfast bar.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Set up of serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other products.
2. Stocking coffee, juice and milk machines or dispensers.
3. Preparation and service of all food items (hot and cold).
4. Restocking items consistently throughout breakfast hours, and restocking items for the next day.
5. Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
6. Responsible for tracking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day.
7. Keeping breakfast area clean including removing trash, cleaning breakfast area and kitchen counters, cabinets and floors.
8. Responsible for cleaning all dishes and kitchen equipment.
9. Providing personalized service to all guests, listening and responding to guest requests and complaints.
10. Additional housekeeping, cleaning, and light maintenance tasks as assigned by Management.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
1. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
2. Standing/walking for long periods of time.
3. Reaching overhead, pushing and pulling, repetitive motions, bending, kneeling, stooping, and twisting.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Physical ability to perform duties assigned.
2. Ability to communicate with team members and management effectively.
3. Must have food handlers’ license or be able to obtain one within the first two weeks of hiring.
4. Ability to follow Company policy and procedures.
