Hey guys. Hannah here! The Historian taught me just how much I love being a part of people's getaways and vacations, and because of that I am now an engineer turned travel agent. The best part is that I get paid commission from the companies I book through, so my vacation planning services are free to my client! The Eureka Springs Zombie Crawl is back! This is a family friendly event in downtown Eureka on Oct 29th. Due to a cancellation, we have a rare single night opening the night before (Friday the 28th) at The Historian. How We Got Started

A couple years ago, my husband’s grandmother, June, moved in with my mother and father in law. Since then her cute little cabin in Eureka Springs has been vacant. In efforts to bring it back to life as well as fulfill a dream of mine, my husband and I have transformed her cabin into a beautiful vacation rental/AirBnB. We began this venture in late June 2019. For 4 and a half months, our weekends were full of paint, insulation, the deepest of deep cleans, woodworking, and just a lot of designing and creating. No doubt it was a lot of work, but I’ve never been more excited about a project!!

June Westphal is an author and local historian. She’s published multiple books on the rich history of Eureka Springs and has been the recipient of several local awards. As her grandchildren, we are honored to not only celebrate her achievements but continue her passion in life. We love you, Grandma June!

Here at The Historian, excerpts from June’s books and other publications are displayed throughout the cabin. Not only will guests’ stays include an entire home complete with luxurious bedding, vintage design, smart home capabilities, a relaxing porch swing, and personal touches, but they will also get to dive into the stories of Eureka Springs! Don’t just stay in Eureka Springs. Live inside its history!
