Dear Rock Cottage Guests -

This is Kathy & Steve Pickowitz, Innkeepers of RCG since 2010. It is with mixed emotional feelings that we announce that we are finally retiring and moving on to the next phase of our lives. It’s been both the most gratifying experience and sometimes the most challenging 10+ years. We thank all the wonderful guests we've had over the years!
Now, with open arms we’d like to introduce the new RCG innkeepers – Bruce Greek has been a local for over a year now. Bruce has a passion for these historic rock cottages and will no doubt bring new and fresh energy to your guest stays and a new level of enjoyment for visitors coming to Eureka. We wish him and his team all the success in the world and hope that our guests will welcome him with the same enthusiasm and love for these little cottages as you have done for us.
Please give Bruce a very warm welcome as he settles into his innkeeping dream.
We are grateful for all the years of choosing to stay with us, it was great getting to know you all and with a huge “Thank You” we wish you much peace and happiness on your own personal journey!

From beginner to advanced spend the day exploring Lake Leatherwood or ride the slopes of the Great Passion Play.

COVID update at RCG: We are continuing to follow the guidelines as stated by the State of Arkansas and the lodging/tourism industry. This means:
1) We will continue to follow all the additional recommendations for COVID sanitizing and disinfecting the cottages between guest stays for everyone's comfort and safety even though mask mandates have been lifted.
2) Understanding that not everyone will choose to be vaccinated, everyone that is vaccinated can opt out of wearing your mask at RCG. Those that are not vaccinated, please make your own decision on wearing a mask or not. RCG is not responsible for managing your personal risk level.
3) Due to the continuing extended sanitizing processes, will will not be accepting pets, the additional cleaning and occassional accidents by pets just adds too much time to our turn over cleaning time. Labor availability is also limited due to COVID workforce scarcity
4) Breakfast will continue to be an optional add on and is not included in any online reservations, we offer a reduced lodging only rate. Most guests enjoy the privacy of breakfast delivered to the cottages, others prefer to sleep in or go out. Contact the innkeeper to add in at $10/person.
5) We will continue to ask guests to bag their soiled towels with bags provided as this is a primary source of virus contaminant exposure to our cleaning staff.
6) Guests will receive a text message to your cellphone in the morning of your arrival day with earliest check in time, your private cottage door code, wifi code, etc. We will continue with a "no contact" self check in process, no need to come up for office check in, you are always welcome to come up to the mainhouse or call if you need something during your stay.
7) Extra services such as massage or hair salon appointments must be made by the guests directly with the salons. We are happy to make recommendations. We cannot be responsible for last minute cancellations and will not pay for guests services for no shows. Sorry, it only takes a few to ruin a value added service for everyone.
