The Cowboy Trail in Nebraska is a premier 321-mile rail-trail spanning from Norfolk to Chadron, known as the longest, or nearly the longest, hiking, biking, and equestrian rail-trail conversion in the United States. The trail showcases over 200 repurposed bridges, including the notable 148-foot high, quarter-mile-long Niobrara River trestle near Valentine.
