Magnificent moose are everywhere in Alaska. When visiting Denali National Park you are almost guaranteed to spot a moose or several moose. Occasionally we see moose on our property at Moonlight Forest Cabins. We definitely encourage taking photos of these awesome critters but please do so from a safe distance. Moose may look harmless but they are very protective of their young and they don’t like people getting too close to them under any circumstances. Stay safe in Alaska and never approach wildlife when not in the safety of a vehicle. These photos were taken from a safe distance using a zoom lens on a camera. Enjoy the wild beauty of Alaska and let the critters go about their business😊

The road to from our cabins is not long. In just 2.5 hours you can be here, in Denali National Park. Book a stay at one of our cabins from May through September and enjoy a road trip to while you are visiting beautiful .
