PING PONG ANYONE ?
The Vermont Senior Games Association annual Table Tennis Championship is now set to take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Once again, the Shelburne Town Gymnasium will serve as host for the event which is open to ALL players age 50 and up as of 12/31/2026. Awards are presented to the top 3 finishers in each 5 year age bracket beginning with 50-54. Competition is friendly and fun, but also serious. Check it out. BTW - there are competitors well into their 80’s.

Table tennis is widely regarded as the best form of exercise for seniors (and is safer than pickleball). The tournament could open a door for you to an enjoyable new athletic and social experience. There are numerous formal and informal groups of players around Vermont who would be delighted to have additional players join their ranks (including at the Cambridge Community Center where Brad plays). Give it a shot - you never know !
