WEEKEND PLANS: FAIRHOPE 🎨

Looking for something to do this Friday night?

First Friday Art Walk is happening in Fairhope from 6–8 PM at the Eastern Shore Art Center! 🎨

It's free, there's live music, and it's a great excuse to spend an evening exploring downtown Fairhope.

One of the things I've enjoyed since moving to Alabama is discovering all of these local traditions and events.

So I'm adding something new to this page:

📍 WHAT'S HAPPENING LOCALLY

I'll periodically share events and things happening around our area because finding a place to call home is about a whole lot more than the house.

What's your favorite local event that I need to put on my calendar?

Twenty-five years after Sept. 11, 2001, we pause to remember the lives lost, honor the first responders and service members who answered the call, and recognize the resilience of a nation forever changed by that day.

The legacy of 9/11 lives not only in remembrance, but in the generations of Americans who chose service, sacrifice and commitment to something greater than themselves.

Today, we honor the fallen, those who responded in our nation’s darkest hours, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
