Happy 160th Birthday to , author of Falmouth's favorite anthem, "America The Beautiful." Participants in the annual poetry contest and members of the public gathered on the library lawn to honor Katie with songs and a majestic 8-ft cake from Montilio's Baking Company. Another impressive event by Falmouth Museums on the Green, bringing our local history to life!

We're beyond thrilled for our neighbors Mike & Linda of Doggz & Hoggz who opened their second beach concession today at Heights Beach. Their brand new food truck offers seaside burgers, dogs, chicken, lobster and smoothies. For more amazing selections of dogs, 'hogs, bbq and salads, their main outlet is just around the corner from the cottage – and dog-friendly, too!

We just caught up with Mike Bullard of Doggz & Hoggz setting up a new snack shack at Falmouth Heights Beach! They hope to be up and running in the next few days, so stay tuned. In the meantime, you can find them on Main Street and Surf Drive Beach! 🎉🎉🎉

Cue the jokes... but seriously, now that the Barnstable County Fair is dried out and everyone's power's back on, all is well in Falmouth!

Vacationers will have stories to tell about Cape Cod this week. Stories about how if it can go wrong, it will go wrong.

How fun do you think it is to "Walk With Goats"? Just as you imagine! Until now, Mac, Ivy, Thelma & Louie have only been available for bog walks in the winter months when they aren't busy working eating poison ivy, bittersweet and other brush. We're happy to learn that goatherd Meghan will be organizing a few in-season goat walks along the Coonamessett River. After you've all had your exercise, you might even get to hold one! Goats preferentially eat poison ivy. Get my Goats to come visit, snack down on poison ivy, cat briar, bittersweet and other greens here in Falmouth, MA.
