Being a business owner is hard. With the rising costs of everything in life, it makes it harder to stay in business and support my family.

✨14 years a Nail Tech✨

When I decided to go to beauty school, I was living in Idaho. I was on my 5th failed college attempt and completely lost in life. I was inspired by my girlfriends Artistry by Andi and sammiexhaggard 🖤 They encouraged me, housed me, fed me, took care of me, and loved me. Right after graduation, I moved home to the Midwest.

My first job was at Fashion Nails. I didn’t know what the hell I was doing. I worked long hours, (very) slowly worked on my skills, and can thank Han for my work ethic and how I run a salon.

In the last 14 years I have done a lot. I have done back to back pedicures for 11 hours straight, helped open a new salon, worked in the swanky Hotel Ivy Spa in Downtown Minneapolis, got into management, got my nail educator license, and am on year 4 of owning my own business.

Many of you have held my hand through a lot of this. Literally. To my long time clients, thank you for loving me. We’ve been on this journey of life together and I cannot express how much the love and support means to me. Yall have seen me at my lowest, at my worst, and at my best.

So here’s to 14 years in the industry
