Not everything wants to be seen in the light. Some things are meant to unfold slowly, in hushed tones and velvet shadows, and the final b**r on this week's Drop is no exception.

Underneath the Covers was hidden away for 12 quiet months in Old Fitzgerald barrels, absorbing whispers of oak, echos of bourbon and the kind of warmth that lingers. When it finally emerged, we layered it with milk sugar and a huge pile of hazelnuts. The result is a rich, roasty, impossibly smooth imperial stout that features an amazing velvety, chocolatey and nutty flavor and aroma.

We teamed up with our pals at Hi-Wire Brewing to put our hop-slinging skills to the test and things got a little out of hand.

Loaded with Krush, Krush Cryo, Citra, Nectaron Cryo and Frosted Fruit Euphorics, this bad boy is proof that a little finesse and a whole lot of hops can go a long way. It's a little finesse, a lot of hops and bursting with notes of juicy peach, tropical fruit and mango.

Someone leaves a window open, forgets to put the lid back on something sweet and suddenly you're dealing with an apocalyptic legion of bees and frantically arming yourself with the marketing department's deeply concerning collection of artifacts.

Your Weapons Are Useless Against Them is back once again: a crisp honey oat l***r with notes of orange and peach, a little hop sting and a mild bready, biscuity finish.
