The Silver River Adobe Inn Bed and Breakfast was the first B&B in Farmington opening in August 1989. Our B&B graciously rests on a sandstone cliff, embraced by two rivers, the San Juan and the La Plata. Landscaped with natural vegetation, grandmother cottonwood trees host many of the birds found in the nature reserve like area. Offering elements of luxury with the organic texture of exposed adobes and rough sawn timbers, the three R's define the interior (refined, rustic, relaxing). An eclectic library creates a natural backdrop for the "Salon" style breakfast conversations. Your hosts, David Beers and Diana Ohlson are pleased to offer advice on travel routes, local events, little known places to visit, and dining in the Four Corners.

Our Australian guest a few night ago shared that she lives in Sydney, NSW, Austeralia. My response was: Double Bay, next door to Bondi Beach? Her response was: Yes, how did you know? Did I fill out my address for this reservation? My reply: No, but I worked with Jennifer from Four Winds Gallery some years back which is in Double Bay so I just mentioned it. Her response: Yes, I do know about the gallery which sells Native American art and jewelry. Both of us: Small World.
