🚧 All American Gate Closes July 27 at Fort Bragg NC For Two-Year Construction Project

📰 FORT BRAGG, N.C. — Beginning Monday, July 27, at 5:00 a.m., the All American Gate will close for approximately 24 months as construction begins on the All American Freeway improvement project. The work includes replacing the Gruber Road Bridge and improving the roadway to enhance safety and traffic flow.

🚗 The All American Gate is one of Fort Bragg’s busiest entrances, serving roughly 15,000 vehicles each day. Motorists should expect heavier traffic at surrounding gates and plan alternate routes once the closure begins.

🚙 Honeycutt Gate
🚙 R. Miller Gate
🚙 Canopy Gate

⏰ Open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.:

❌ Closed during construction:

🚧 Knox Street East (MMD) Gate

🪪 The All American Gate Visitor Center will remain open throughout construction. Visitors without a DoD ID can still obtain a pass there before entering Fort Bragg through another access point.

🏗️ The project is expected to continue through 2028, with the All American Gate reopening once construction is complete.

🚧 With the All American Gate closing in early to mid-July for long-term construction, here’s a quick look at what gate options will remain available. Officials are encouraging drivers to begin planning alternate routes now before the closure begins.

🏗️ The All American Gate closure is expected to last approximately 24 months as crews replace the Gruber Road Bridge and complete major improvements along the All American Freeway corridor.

🚗 Drivers who normally use the All American Gate should expect traffic patterns to change and may want to begin testing alternate routes before construction begins.
