New River Gorge glamping at Star Farm puts you five minutes from the national park and within easy reach of some of our favorite places in the region.
If you’re planning a trip between September and November, this is one of the best windows to go. Cooler weather makes long days outside easier, Gauley rafting season is underway, climbing conditions are strong, and the park gets quieter as the season goes on.
A few places I’d make time for:
1- Walk beneath the New River Gorge Bridge on Bridge Walk
2- See the Glade Creek Grist Mill at Babcock State Park
3- Explore the preserved railroad town of Thurmond
✨ Which one would you choose first?
Stay close enough to actually enjoy more of the trip.
Ten gated acres. Built for two.
