SECURITY NOTICE & UPDATE FOR OUR GUESTS
It has come to our attention that fraudulent text messages are currently being sent to some of our guests. These scam messages claim that your reservation at Fern River Resort will be canceled unless you pay a deposit or click a link immediately.
Please review the following security guidelines:
We do NOT request payments or deposits via text message.
We generally do NOT communicate via text. Official reservation updates and payment requests are sent through our secure primary email channels.
Do NOT click any links, respond, or provide payment details to any text message claiming to be from us.
If you receive one of these texts, simply ignore and delete it. Your reservation remains completely safe and unaffected on our end.
Because we are a small boutique resort, our front desk team is currently managing an extremely high volume of inquiries regarding this issue. To help us keep our lines open for urgent on-site guest needs, please refrain from calling the office regarding these scam texts.
