The Amble Inn

The Amble Inn Anne & Jeff Mathieu are the owners of The Amble Inn Bed & Breakfast. It is a Craftsman-style log hotel built in 1946 in Douglas, MI.

New name, new owners, same rustic charm! As the new caretakers of this historic inn, we (Anne & Jeff) are having a great time restoring and refreshing our guestrooms. We took ownership in September of 2014 and have already installed new beds, bedding and flatscreen TVs. In the winter season, we will be adding a recreation/lounge area for guests to relax in. We will also begin serving breakfast in the spring. We are open year round, so give us a call to come check us out!
