We are nestled in the northeastern foothills of the Appalachian mountains in North Carolina. While searching for a new home site to live the mountain lifestyle, we found more than could be expected. One look at this gorgeous property which has a shadow of time and charm, this old farmhouse filled our dream. We then wanted to share the peaceful beauty and character with our friends and soon to be

friends. This is how Stoney Fork Campground and Bed and Breakfast came to be. Imagine closing your eyes and hear the rushing waters of the of the creek located at the bottom of the field as it flows down from the mountains, hear the wind gently blowing through a Bamboo forest and wind chimes softly ringing in the distance. Cast a line in the creek, take a hike or pick wild berries, wait keep them closed and smell the pure mountain air so clean and healing, the smell of the woods and wood burning in the fire pit along with the smell of food being cooked. Come and share with us this wonderful setting. Stoney Fork Campground has “tent only” sites, camp along 2000 ft of creek frontage. Each tent site has a picnic table and fire ring with a grill. There is a bath house located close by where you can get water and take a hot shower, a dump station is also available. Surrounding forests include a mixture of white pine, hardwoods, rhododendron and open grassy areas allowing campers to choose just the right amount of sun and shade. A sizable grassy meadow is free of campsites and makes for a great sunning or relaxing spot. Fish in the creek, hike nearby or explore the area by bike, motorcycle or car.
