There’s nothing quite like a perfect weekend in Fernandina Beach. As the owner of The Williams House, these are a few of my favorite ways to experience our little island town.
Start your morning with coffee right here at The Williams House, or wander downtown for a chai and lemon bar at Amelia Island Coffee. From there, take a sunrise stroll along the beach or enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverfront.
On Saturday morning, the weekly farmers market is a must, followed by a little shopping along Centre Street. A few favorite stops include Lindy’s Jewelry, the fudge shop, and Twisted Sisters.
When it’s time for dinner, you truly can’t go wrong. Some of my favorites are David’s, Burlingame, First Love Microbrewery, Indigo, and España. Each has its own personality and is part of what makes dining in Fernandina Beach so special.
After dinner, catch some live music at the Green Turtle, Tiger Island, or the Palace Saloon before making your way back to The Williams House.
And my favorite way to end the perfect Fernandina Beach day? A relaxing glass of wine on the porch, soaking in the charm of Amelia Island and already wishing the weekend didn’t have to end. 🍷✨
