🎃👻 WHAT A SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN EXTRAVAGANZA WEEKEND! 👻🎃

What an amazing weekend here at Fish Creek Campground! We had so much fun celebrating Halloween with our awesome campers, and we are so grateful to everyone who came out and made last weekend so special.

From the spooky thrills of the haunted campsite 👻 to newly added trivia, our pancake & porkie breakfast 🥞, co****le tournament, pumpkin carving and painting 🎃 (+ a 1,000 # pumpkin on display!), trick-or-treating 🍬, and our potluck dinner 🍽️ — there was something fun & tasty for everyone!

A HUGE thank you to all of our campers for joining in the festivities and going all out with your creativity, decorations, and Halloween spirit! Our site decorating judges had an especially tough job this year with SO many amazing decorated sites. You all made the campground look incredible, and choosing the winners was no easy task! 🏆🕸️

We also want to give a BIG shoutout to our wonderful family and friends who volunteered their time, helped organize activities, and pitched in wherever needed. We couldn’t do weekends like this without you, and we appreciate you more than you know!

Next year’s Extravaganza will be Oct 22-23, 2027! Book your sites now!

Hello happy campers! We have a bunch of new followers and I figured a little intro post about each of the main faces was warranted for the past, present, and future campers. This is currently our 8th season owning Fish Creek Campground and we love it! Here goes…

⛺️Cary (owner) - the rules/speed enforcer, professional lawn mower, one of a kind wood deliverer, mr. fix it, loves to hang out and chat with all our campers, and always has treats in his golf cart for the pups (they almost seem to know when he’s coming 😅). Says he loves owning this campground because of everyone he gets to talk to and he likes making sure they feel cared for when they’re here.

⛺️Cheri (owner) - born & raised in Door County, boss woman in charge, the amazing and meticulous landscaper/gardener, camping enthusiast, needs everything clean and tidy always, and keeps everything going behind the scenes. Says she loves keeping the grounds clean, pretty, and welcoming for our guests. She also is proud that our campground can be a small part of families making their camping memories together.

⛺️Brooke (manager) - Cary & Cheri’s daughter, the main office/phone/social media person, perfectionist, pro cleaner and pump out lady, keeps all products ordered and on the shelves (especially a few healthy/organic options🙂), foodie and loves recommending good DC eats/sips to visitors, and a huge animal lover (fun fact- my college degree is actually in Animal Science!). One of my favorite parts of working here at the campground is talking with and getting to know people from all over the country. I also love working with my parents and having a family business that my kids can grow up, make memories, and meet new kids at.

Besides us 3, we have numerous family members and family friends that keep this place standing with us. We are so thankful for them and my mom and dad love having a wonderful place where all their kids and grandkids can make memories together, just like our campers!

We are always looking for ways to improve this place and everyone’s experience… we hope you love it as much as we do! Thanks for following us! Home of happy camping 😊
