Hello happy campers! We have a bunch of new followers and I figured a little intro post about each of the main faces was warranted for the past, present, and future campers. This is currently our 8th season owning Fish Creek Campground and we love it! Here goes…

⛺️Cary (owner) - the rules/speed enforcer, professional lawn mower, one of a kind wood deliverer, mr. fix it, loves to hang out and chat with all our campers, and always has treats in his golf cart for the pups (they almost seem to know when he’s coming 😅). Says he loves owning this campground because of everyone he gets to talk to and he likes making sure they feel cared for when they’re here.

⛺️Cheri (owner) - born & raised in Door County, boss woman in charge, the amazing and meticulous landscaper/gardener, camping enthusiast, needs everything clean and tidy always, and keeps everything going behind the scenes. Says she loves keeping the grounds clean, pretty, and welcoming for our guests. She also is proud that our campground can be a small part of families making their camping memories together.

⛺️Brooke (manager) - Cary & Cheri’s daughter, the main office/phone/social media person, perfectionist, pro cleaner and pump out lady, keeps all products ordered and on the shelves (especially a few healthy/organic options🙂), foodie and loves recommending good DC eats/sips to visitors, and a huge animal lover (fun fact- my college degree is actually in Animal Science!). One of my favorite parts of working here at the campground is talking with and getting to know people from all over the country. I also love working with my parents and having a family business that my kids can grow up, make memories, and meet new kids at.

Besides us 3, we have numerous family members and family friends that keep this place standing with us. We are so thankful for them and my mom and dad love having a wonderful place where all their kids and grandkids can make memories together, just like our campers!

We are always looking for ways to improve this place and everyone’s experience… we hope you love it as much as we do! Thanks for following us! Home of happy camping 😊

I’d say we sure put the “creek” in Fish Creek Campground but…… it’s more of a large river. At least it has a nice flow to it. 😅 I guess that’s what 32 inches of melted snow and all this rain will do. But hey, we open up officially on May 8 and we are praying for some sunshine and warmth to take care of all this water in the coming weeks. You can call us to make a reservation or book on our website! We are excited to get the season started!

Special side note- despite our “Closed. Private property, keep out” sign we have at the camp entrance during off season, we still get people driving through as if the sign doesn’t apply to them. We live on property. This is our home. There are grandkids, dogs, and cats running around over winter months. Please please please, if you want to take a look at the campground/drive around during off season, give us a call or email first and we’d love to show you. But especially right now with all of the flooding, we can’t have anyone driving around in here. Thank you for your understanding!! 🏕️
