Have you visited Door County during winter? Throughout the year, we often hear people remark about "oh, winter must be so slow and boring up here." Sure, it's a different pace, but if you have not experienced the beauty and changing of seasons in person, it is something you ought not to miss.

We love late fall/winter for numerous reasons, but some of our favorites include:
✨Holiday shopping/festivals
✨Snowshoeing/hiking in Peninsula State Park
✨A different view of the peninsula. Bare branches open up lake views, and a fresh snowfall makes familiar trails feel entirely new.

For an evening worth putting on the calendar, look into our Progressive Dinners (first 3 weekends in December, and Jan 8th-9th! Enjoy cocktails, hors devours, live music, and a roaring wood fire at our Inn, before we all make our way to dinner. You'll learn about the history of our charming Inn, and how Fish Creek has changed over the years.
