💙 Healthy Living Starts with Prevention in Mobile, Alabama!

From preventive vaccinations to personalized fall risk assessments, residents at AHEPA Senior Living communities in Mobile, Alabama, recently benefited from two wellness initiatives designed to support their health, safety and independence!

💉 Protecting Residents' Health: Walgreens Pharmacy administered flu, COVID-19, pneumonia and shingles vaccinations to 22 residents. Donated door prizes added a little fun to the occasion, while My Therapy at Home provided donuts for everyone to enjoy!

✓ Preventing Falls, Supporting Independence: Students from the University of South Alabama Department of Physical Therapy visited to conduct one-on-one fall risk assessments. Residents received individualized evaluations to help identify potential fall risks and enjoyed the personal attention and interaction with the students.

Prevention, education and community partnerships are important parts of helping older adults stay healthy and independent.

A big thank you to Walgreens Pharmacy, My Therapy at Home and the University of South Alabama physical therapy students for investing their time and expertise in our residents!

💙 Building Resilience, One Challenge at a Time!

Life comes with challenges, but having the right tools and mindset can help us navigate them with greater confidence.

Residents at AHEPA 501 Phases I & II Apartments in Albuquerque, New Mexico, recently welcomed Mikayla Martinez from Goodwill for an engaging workshop on resilience and how to face life's challenges.

Together, they explored the characteristics of resilient people, different types of resilience, practical strategies for building resilience and ways to recognize unhelpful thinking habits.

The best part? The conversation! Residents actively participated, shared their perspectives and engaged in meaningful dialogue throughout the session.

A special thank you to Mikayla and Goodwill for helping our residents strengthen the skills that support emotional well-being, confidence and healthy aging!

🎓💙 Generations Connecting in Hoover!

Residents at AHEPA Penelope District One Apartments in Hoover, Alabama, have some new friends this fall!

As part of Samford University’s Fall 2026 student volunteer program, six Samford students visit our community each week, spending time with residents through games, craft projects and even helping answer technology questions.

Recently, residents and students put their American history knowledge to the test with a spirited game of America-Opoly! 🇺🇸

We’re grateful for this wonderful collaboration and for the time these students are giving to our residents. Intergenerational connections like these bring opportunities to learn from one another, build friendships and simply have fun together.

Wow, we’re still beaming and talking about this year’s Property Manager Conference, held in Washington, D.C., for the first time! 🇺🇸

What a week! Our team took to Capitol Hill, met with U.S. senators and congressional staff, and heard from policymakers, HUD representatives, industry experts and our board officers and corporate leadership team.

We topped it all off with our annual Awards Dinner, celebrating years of service and recognizing outstanding achievements across AHEPA Senior Living.

Most importantly, thank you to our property management professionals for all you do every day for our residents and communities. We hope you left Washington feeling informed, inspired and appreciated. 💙
