The most incredible, five-star, experience - will be back soon!
I don't quite know where to begin. I booked Brinckerhoff Inn at short notice. I am 38 weeks pregnant and wanted to be close to the military base where my husband was working. Little did I know that my weekend would turn into the most perfect get-away. From the moment I walked in the door, the atmosphere was friendly and personal. Bob (the owner) insisted on carrying my bags upstairs, and Kimberly made sure I had a bottle of water in hand. The interior strikes you immediately, it is absolutely beautiful. Historic, yet somehow warm and cozy. Our bedroom, the James Madison room was stunning. Breakfast was fantastic, and there are so many areas of the house to explore. If you are interested, Bob can tell you many stories about the history of the house. My husband, a Major with the NY National Guard was blown away to hear the stories of the many high-ranking military officials who had stayed at the inn. Additionally, Kimberly or Bob can give guests fantastic recommendations for dinner and local activities - they clearly know the area very well. Being from Ireland, I have long sought that luxury B&B experience in the US - the Brinckerhoff Inn masters that, and then some! 10/10 for friendliness; cleanliness; and charm. We will be back often.
