Many parents ask us:
“Does increasing ABA therapy hours actually make a difference?”

The answer is often yes — because children learn best through consistency, repetition, and real-life practice. Just like any new skill, momentum matters.

In our newest blog, we’re breaking down:
• Why consistency in ABA therapy can support faster progress
• How in-home ABA therapy helps skills carry over into daily life
• Why more hours doesn’t mean more pressure
• What families in Flagstaff and Northern Arizona are experiencing firsthand

At Kaibab Behavioral Services, we believe real progress happens in everyday environments — during meals, play, routines, transitions, and connection.

Summer camps are meant to be fun — but they can also be overwhelming when staff don’t feel equipped to support behavior, regulation, and connection.

That’s why we’re so excited to be partnering with several camps this summer to provide practical, compassionate training for camp counselors and teams. ☀️🏕️

Do you want a summer camp where staff feel confident, prepared, and supported with real tools in their pocket to:
✔️ Build meaningful connections
✔️ Reduce challenging behavior
✔️ Support emotional regulation
✔️ Create inclusive experiences for all kids
✔️ Respond calmly and confidently in difficult moments

At Kaibab Behavioral Services, we believe behavior is communication — and when adults feel empowered, camps become safer, calmer, and more connected for everyone.

We’re currently preparing multiple camps across Northern Arizona for an incredible summer season, and we couldn’t be more grateful to help support the people showing up for kids every day. 💙

Interested in bringing training to your camp, youth program, or organization this summer? Let’s connect.

Welcome — we’re so glad you’re here. 🤍

At Kaibab Behavioral Services, we believe every child deserves to be seen for who they are — not just the challenges they face.

We are a locally owned, Northern Arizona-based ABA provider built on connection, compassion, and real relationships with families. Our mission has never been about “fixing” children. It’s about supporting communication, confidence, independence, emotional safety, and meaningful quality of life for the whole family.

What we value:
✨ Compassion over compliance
✨ Connection before correction
✨ Respect for neurodiversity
✨ Parent partnership and collaboration
✨ Play, joy, and authentic relationships
✨ Evidence-based care delivered with humanity

We believe therapy should feel supportive, individualized, and empowering — not cold or cookie-cutter.

Our team serves children and families across Northern Arizona through in-home ABA therapy, caregiver support, school collaboration, community training, and behavioral consultation. We are passionate about expanding access to care in rural communities and creating spaces where children can truly thrive.

Whether you’re a parent, educator, first responder, clinician, or community member — thank you for being here and supporting a more compassionate, informed, and inclusive world for neurodivergent individuals.

We’re honored to be part of this community. 💙

Summer break doesn’t have to mean putting progress on pause ☀️
Changes in routine, vacations, camps, and extra downtime can all create challenges for children—but summer can also be one of the BEST times to build real-life skills.
From community outings to independence at home, meaningful growth often happens outside the classroom. 💛
Our newest blog explores:
✨ Why consistency matters during summer break
✨ How ABA therapy supports real-life learning
✨ Simple ways families can maintain routines during vacations and schedule changes

Graduating from ABA therapy doesn’t mean perfection—it means growth, confidence, independence, and meaningful progress in everyday life. 💛

For some families, it looks like smoother routines, stronger communication, fewer meltdowns, or simply feeling hopeful again. Every child’s journey is different, and every step forward matters.

In our newest blog, we’re talking about what “graduating” from ABA can really look like for children and families—and why progress is about so much more than checklists.

Autistic burnout is real—and many families are seeing it without realizing what it is.

If your child is coming home overwhelmed, melting down more, or shutting down after holding it together all day… it may not be “behavior.”

It may be burnout.

Burnout happens when kids are constantly adapting, masking, and pushing through environments that don’t match their needs—without enough time or support to recover.

Here’s what that can look like:
• Big emotions after school or therapy
• Withdrawal or less communication
• Loss of skills they previously had
• Increased sensitivity or need for control

This isn’t regression.
This is a signal.

In ABA therapy, our job isn’t to push harder—it’s to adjust, support, and meet your child where they are.

At Kaibab Behavioral Services, we focus on real-life, in-home therapy where skills actually happen—because that’s where burnout shows up and where support matters most.

If this resonates with you, you’re not alone—and there is a better way to support your child. 💛

We’re growing—and looking for a BCBA to join our team at Kaibab Behavioral Services.

KBS is locally owned and operated by a BCBA, and our work is grounded in what matters most: connection, respect, and meaningful progress for the families we serve.

We believe care should feel different—for both clinicians and families. Our approach centers on assent, collaboration, and real-life impact, not just checking boxes.

In this role, you can expect:
✨ Assent-based, relationship-driven care
✨ Flexible and hybrid options
✨ Manageable, supported caseloads
✨ A team that values clinical voice, presence, and connection

We’re building something meaningful in Northern Arizona and would love to connect with someone who feels aligned with this work.

School breaks don’t have to mean lost progress.

If anything, they can be one of the best opportunities to build real-life skills—right in the moments that matter most. From daily routines to community outings, your child is still learning… just in a different way.

If you’ve noticed changes during time off, you’re not alone. With the right support and a little structure, progress doesn’t pause—it evolves.

Our latest blog shares simple, realistic ways to maintain ABA progress during school breaks without turning your home into a classroom.
