There are moments in this journey that remind us exactly why we started 💛
This sweet couple stayed with us for their honeymoon, and what began as a simple question turned into one of those afternoons we’ll never forget. We ended up walking the property together, sharing stories, showing them around the cabins… just genuinely enjoying each other’s company.
On their last night, they surprised us by bringing dinner they had grilled at the cabin—just as a thank you. That meant more to us than we can even put into words.
We didn’t get into this business to be a big, branded resort. There’s no property manager, no co-hosts, no big team behind the scenes—it’s just me and Kevin. We live here, we care for the land, and occasionally we get the joy of meeting the incredible people who choose to spend their special moments here.
Seeing guests celebrate life, love, and new beginnings in a place that means so much to us… that’s everything.
