Our final youth group meet up for the 2025-2026 calendar year was Friday. This marks our fourth year from starting a youth group in our living room with no idea what we were doing, but we felt a calling in our hearts so strong we had to respond. Moving into our fifth year we can say none of this was ever what we expected. We have done everything you probably shouldn’t do, but in everything we have said “here am I send me.” The Lord has been so faithful to us and to these teenagers. As we keep saying yes to the path of youth ministry the Lord continues to lead us and shape us in his mercy. His grace is so evident because we have all received way more than we ever deserved. Thank you Jesus for taking two rookies who didn’t know anything about youth ministry to new places by stretching us so we can grow. We believe the best is yet to come! This generation is so very special and has a deep desire to know God in a very intimate way.

We are so excited to announce our first fundraiser for Camp Michael! This project is to complete our bunkhouse and banquet hall. Currently, we have been in a holding pattern since December with the bunkhouse. By helping us complete it we will be able to sleep 30 guests on our grounds. The completion of the banquet hall will bring an addition kitchen to the property as well as a repaired ceiling and more touch ups. When the hall is complete it will seat 80 guests with tables and chairs! If you are renting our banquet hall this will be the perfect place for your event to teach or feed your guests.

Our sculpture project is coming along! This is a paper mache’ with clay sculpture. We will post the end results very soon! Art class at Camp Michael is so much fun!!

Last week some of the boys from our art class asked if they could build a treehouse on a cement pad they uncovered. This discovery is located in the back wooded area of the camp. I agreed and the progress they made is so wonderful! With the help of the dad of one of our students, framing happened over the weekend. We can’t wait to show you more! Stay tuned in!
