We are making progress sooner than we expected, and that feels really good. At this rate the bunkhouse will be done before Thanksgiving for sure. Today we cleared land thanks to Jayden Mitchell and . We also had my ever faithful and wonderful handy crew working on everything and anything to get this bunkhouse finished. We also began the nature bathroom and clearing out the banquet hall. Even more exciting was that I was able to order log cabin siding today!

Lucy is our camp pup and she has enjoyed her transition from city dog to a country dog. We love seeing her run wild all over Camp Michael and even get into some trouble.

I tried another awesome restaurant in Brooksville today! Way to go Mallie Kyla's Cafe for your wonderful lunch and ambiance! Not only is this an outstanding long time (30 years) food establishment to the area, there is also a flower shop and boutique attached. We’ll be back for more of their chicken salad.

If you like diner food this is the place for you! Tucked away in downtown Inverness, the awesome Hen House diner is the place to be for home cookin for breakfast and lunch. The prices are also great too! I have eaten here several times and always plan my next trip. The Hen House is just 20 minutes from Camp Michael.

Country night noise, especially after a lot of rain can be very loud. Seems like everybody’s got something to say all at the same time!

I would like to say that “we will never move again after this,” but I’ve said that multiple times over the 47 years of my life. Turns out that statement just means the total opposite. God’s grace is carrying us through a time of uncertainty as we uproot our lives from a place of comfort and security to a complete unknown situation. Faith is what brought us here and we are excited to see how this all plays out.

And today we moved the cats… for some it was easier than others. There’s more than one way to stuff a cat in a carrier. 😂
