When it rains beautiful things happen here. Love our little waterfall tucked in the back of our camp. We had a lot of rain this week but we are ready to dry out for next week!

This was taken in the early morning hours before the we saw any daylight. The stars were too many to count. In seeing this it reminded me of this special verse. “He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.”

This week at Camp Michael we got to see some strides in the exterior of the bunkhouse. The outside bathroom was framed and plumbed, exterior doors arrived, and our stone and log siding was installed after nearly a year of looking at moisture protection paper. It’s a very welcomed change! Next week more electrical work will be done. Still moving very smooth through our progress.

We are on week two of construction for the second phase of Camp Michael. We are rebuilding parts needing repair, cleaning up areas where the rain had taken its toll on the grounds this season, and we are full steam ahead on the bunkhouse. We even cut down a few trees to make room for a new pond. There is lots happening over here at the camp!

We are making progress sooner than we expected, and that feels really good. At this rate the bunkhouse will be done before Thanksgiving for sure. Today we cleared land thanks to Jayden Mitchell and . We also had my ever faithful and wonderful handy crew working on everything and anything to get this bunkhouse finished. We also began the nature bathroom and clearing out the banquet hall. Even more exciting was that I was able to order log cabin siding today!
