Florence, we need your help picking a pumpkin carving champion!

Halloween is almost here, and we're getting ready for a little friendly competition at Driftwood Shores!

We're inviting everyone to join our Pumpkin Carving Contest, and we'd love for our local community to come out, check out the creations, and help us choose the winners!

🎃 Want to enter? Bring your carved pumpkin to Driftwood Shores by October 29th.
🍂 Want to vote? Stop by the Pacific Ballroom, upstairs above Surfside Bistro, on October 30th or 31st to see all the pumpkins on display and cast your vote for your favorite!

🏆 Here's what's up for grabs:
🥇 1st Place – A 2-night stay at Driftwood Shores
🥈 2nd Place – A 1-night stay at Driftwood Shores

🗳️ Voting closes at 5 PM on October 31st, and the winners will be announced at 7 PM that evening!

You don't have to enter a pumpkin to be part of the fun. We'd love to see our Florence neighbors stop in, take a look at everyone's hard work, and help us decide who deserves the bragging rights!

Some bands are worth making plans for twice. Box Rat happens to be one of them!

They're playing at Surfside Bistro tonight and again Friday, October 16th, from 5–7 PM!

We'd love for you to spend a weekend at the beach with us!

We've got something special planned at Driftwood Shores on October 24th & 25th.

We're excited to have Circles in the Sand back at Driftwood Shores and can't wait to see what they come up with this year! With local musicians playing throughout the weekend and colorful kites filling the sky, it's going to be a fun couple of days at the beach, and we'd love for you to be part of it!

Admission is FREE, and everyone is welcome! Come enjoy a weekend of sand art, live music, and kite flying right here on the beach!

Greg Douglas is playing at Surfside Bistro tomorrow from 5–7 PM. This is one you’ll probably want to catch.
Greg is a former guitarist for the Steve Miller Band and co-writer of “Jungle Love,” so yeah… he’s got a few stories behind that guitar.
Come grab some dinner, order a drink, and hang out with us for a couple hours of live music by the ocean.

Greg Douglas is coming to Surfside Bistro on Saturday, September 26 from 5–7 PM.

Greg is a former guitarist for The Steve Miller Band and co-writer of the hit “Jungle Love.” He’s had an incredible career in music, and now we get to have him right here on the Oregon Coast.

Not every Saturday in Florence comes with a former Steve Miller Band guitarist in the room. This one does.
