Bienvenue à Ahi & Co., notre petit coin de paradis dans les Florida Keys 🐠☀️

On rêvait d’un endroit simple, élégant et paisible, entre mer, soleil et bons moments en famille… et on l’a trouvé 💙
La maison compte 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain et un divan-lit double, donc on peut y dormir jusqu’à 6 personnes. Il y a une piscine privée chauffée ou rafraîchissante, un quai avec élévateur pour bateau (j

usqu’à 24 pieds), un accès direct à l’océan, et même deux kayaks pour partir explorer les canaux ! On a aussi laissé quelques cannes à pêche 🎣 pour les amateurs, histoire de relaxer au quai ou sur les ponts voisins. La villa est à 30 minutes de Key West et 30 minutes de Marathon, tout près de Bahia Honda State Park, du 7 Mile Bridge et du super resto Kiki’s Sandbar Bar & Grill, qu’on adore (et oui, tu peux même t’y rendre en kayak 🍹). C’est l’endroit parfait pour profiter de la vie des Keys : pêche, snorkeling, plongée, dauphins, tortues, tarpons, couchers de soleil et Key Lime Pie évidemment 🥧🌅

Bref, Ahi & Co., c’est notre rêve devenu réalité… et maintenant, on a hâte de le partager avec vous 💫

The bedroom connects to a spacious walk-in that includes the bathroom and laundry area. The space is bright, functional, and well suited for mid- to long-term stays.

La chambre principale est équipée d’un lit king et d’une télévision, avec une porte donnant directement accès à l’extérieur.

Un grand espace bureau a été aménagé pour le télétravail, offrant calme et intimité.

La chambre est attenante à un vaste walk-in comprenant la salle de bain ainsi que la salle de lavage. L’ensemble est lumineux, fonctionnel et bien pensé pour les séjours de moyenne ou longue durée.

Un espace confortable et pratique, idéal pour relaxer autant que pour travailler.

Behind the scenes 🐟
We seriously struggled to find fish…
We had nothing until the day before the shoot 😅

Then, total luck — we found them in a furniture & decor store in Marathon while we were actually going to buy kayaks.

At first, we wanted a sailfish.
What was available instead: a tuna and a tarpon.

Which is kind of funny because the villa is called Ahi (tuna),
and the tarpon is JF’s dream fish — the one he’s been chasing since we started coming to the Keys.
We even come in the spring just for tarpon season 🎣

Then came the big question: living room or terrace?
We tried both to see what worked best with the colors…
and here’s the result.

JF is really happy to have them hanging in the living room 😌

Behind the scenes 🐟
On a vraiment rushé pour trouver des poissons…
On avait absolument rien jusqu’à la veille du shooting 😅

Finalement, on en a trouvé par hasard total dans un magasin de meubles et déco à Marathon… en allant acheter des kayaks.

Au départ, on voulait un sailfish.
Mais ce qu’il y avait : un thon et un tarpon.

P*s c’est quand même drôle parce que la villa s’appelle Ahi (thon),
et le tarpon, c’est le poisson que JF rêve d’attraper depuis qu’on va dans les Keys.
On vient même au printemps juste pour la saison des tarpons 🎣

Après ça, gros dilemme : salon ou terrasse?
On a testé les deux pour voir ce qui fittait le mieux avec les couleurs…
et voilà le résultat.

JF est vraiment content de les voir accrochés dans le salon 😌

Notre cuisine a été pensée pour la simplicité et le confort.
Un espace lumineux où l’on retrouve un grand îlot central, deux cafetières (filtre & Keurig), un mixeur Ninja, un lave-vaisselle, et tout les essentiels nécessaires pour cuisiner en vacances.

Que ce soit pour préparer un smoothie après la plage, un café tranquille au lever du soleil ou un repas en famille, tout est là pour rendre votre séjour agréable !
