Self made hotelier/real estate developer seeks full time carpenter/drywaller/painter/general handyman. Minimum 5 years experience in general construction trade like framing, concrete, roofing, electrical, plumbing, painting etc.
Ideal candidate is a quick learner, detail oriented, clean, organized, and self directed.
You will be expected to complete assigned projects in a timely manner under your own direction and set your own schedule. You must be physically fit and agile, with no fear of heights.
We will always treat you with respect and stay out of your way. You will effectively be your own boss and mostly working by yourself. High quality materials, all needed tools, and uniforms will be provided.
Because we are in a remote location a daily food or gas stipend may be provided to the correct candidate.
You will have the opportunity to receive paid on the job training in all construction trades. A motivated candidate will become a master general carpenter/builder qualified for master trade licensing in 2-4 years.
We are a fair trade employer and big believers in promoting from within. An excellent candidate will see promotion in 2-4 years and make $60k-$100k plus benefits, profit sharing, and full equitable partnership with shares in real estate ownership.
Pay is $18-$25 an hour d.o.e. to start. Extremely low rent is available or could be included with pay for the right candidate. Hiring bonus and/or step raising for the right candidate.
