🌻 Apparently, somebody didn’t get the memo that flower season is over….

It’s been a few weeks since we wrapped up flower season, but these guys apparently have other plans! 🌻🤦‍♂️ Better late than never, we guess!

While our flower season may be over, camping season is still going strong! 🏕️🔥

🍁 If cool-weather camping, cozy campfires, and leaf peeping are your thing, THIS is your season!

We’re welcoming campers through October 31st, when we officially wrap up our 2026 camping season.

Come enjoy a little fall mountain magic at Crooked Mountain before we close for the year!

NEW IN THE STORE 🌿📖

We love being able to use our little store to support our friends and other local creators!

Our friend Michelle has created these awesome Guided Journals, and we now have several different versions available at Crooked Mountain — including one for the Adventurer, a Doodle Lover edition, Kids & Teens, and more.

Whether you’re looking for a place to slow down and put your thoughts on paper, document your adventures, or grab a unique little gift, come check them out.

Only $10 each!

And that Adventurer one really feels like it belongs here. 😉

We’re not just a flower farm and campground… Crooked Mountain is also becoming a hub for local tourism, information, and adventure — especially for our two-wheeled friends. 🏍️

We’re excited to now be featured on Freeman Maps! We also have Floyd on 2 Wheels maps available at the store, along with tons of local brochures, recommendations, and our route & information board right by the front porch.

And if you’re looking to get off the usual path, we’ve put together some of our own favorite routes around the area that we update throughout the year worth exploring.

Whether you’re riding the Blue Ridge Parkway, exploring Floyd’s backroads, or just looking for something new to see and do — stop by and choose your next adventure.

Better yet, come camp with us and make Crooked Mountain your basecamp for exploring Floyd and the Blue Ridge.

We’re excited to share that Crooked Mountain has once again been recognized in the annual Hipcamp Awards — including Best in Virginia and as one of the Best Places to Camp in the U.S.! 🇺🇸🏕️

Hipcamp’s awards are based on bookings, ratings, and reviews from campers across more than 500,000 campsites. We’re incredibly grateful to all of our campers who have stayed with us, shared their experiences, and helped Crooked Mountain earn this recognition. Thank you!

If you’re looking to camp with us this week, unfortunately Crooked Mountain will be CLOSED this week to spend with family.

We do have a few previously reserved campers staying with us, but we will not be accepting additional camping reservations or opening the store this week.

We’ll be back soon and ready for more fall camping in the mountains next week! 🍂🏕️

Just a quick reminder that our Date Night on the Farm scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support.

Even though we won’t be spending the evening together here at Crooked Mountain, we hope you still find a way to take a break, get away for a little while, and do something special with someone you love. Sometimes we all need a reason to slow down and enjoy the people and places around us.

Thank you again for understanding, and we hope to see you at Crooked Mountain another time soon. 🌻
