Meet our Family Camp speaker, Kory Kleinsasser!

Kory has pastored in the Wesleyan Church for 29 years. He was an assistant at Hillside Wesleyan in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for 13 years before becoming the senior pastor at Waite Park Church in Minneapolis in 2010. He has been married to Ann for 33 years, has three adult children and two grandkids. He has degrees from the University of Sioux Falls, Asbury Seminary, and Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan. His recent doctoral work resulted in the curriculum "Church in the World" that seeks to help believers stay faithful to Jesus in their politics without giving in to the culture wars. His passion is translating timeless truths to new generations.

Meet our 2026 Men's Advance Speaker: Herb Bloomquist

For 37 years Herb directed Camp Shamineau, now the largest Evangelical Free Church Camp in the country. In December of 2021 Herb’s pancreas ruptured which put him in a hospital bed for almost 2 1/2 years. After having died a few times, God restored Herb’s health and he has since been speaking at churches and camps, consulting with Christian Camps, serving as an interim pastor, and over the past two years has been part of building a Christian youth camp in Japan. Herb and his wife Deb have three grown daughters and five grandchildren. Herb love the outdoors, reading, and writing.

we're making room for our NEW ZIP LINE! 🙌

We are so excited for campers, retreat guests, and kids to soon be flying through the air, laughing, cheering, and making unforgettable memories right here at camp.

It’s amazing to watch this project go from an idea… to a cleared space… and soon to a thrilling experience that will impact thousands of lives in the years ahead.
