Bravo, The Country Living Fair! We had a blast exploring the wonderful vendors and meeting the talented artisans and craftspeople behind their work. Their skill and love for their craft made the day even more special. We stopped in to hear Katie’s friend Matt from June Farms who was a guest speaker talk about the ups and downs of county life . Always a treat to be around his fabulous smile and humbling personality ! Be sure to add a visit to his beautiful farm to your bucket list .
Wish we could have brought home a few more treasures… until next year! 🤍

Lovie , is a Lavender Orpington. We have about 30 chickens on the farm with a variety of breeds . No doubt about it collecting different breeds of chickens is addictive . It’s like creating your own fashion runway with the added benefit of amazing eggs . I love opening the chickens up each morning. They immediately rush to you for their morning scratch . It’s a great way to start the day off feeling useful and appreciated ! Looking forward to attending the Ohio Poultry Association show this November and bringing home a few splash silkies ! Anyone up for a chicken run ?

What a year for dahlias! You just can’t be in a bad mood with all this natural glory staring at you . They always bring a smile. It’s been our best year ever at our little farm shop and we would like to thank our community by offering another free dahlia you pick . ( donations accepted to support next years crop ) Our first one of the season will be next Sat. October 3rd from 11-2 . Pick a bouquet for yourself, a loved one or a friend . Bring your own vase and we will help you make the arrangement ! 🤍🌸

Let’s talk American made natural fiber yarn ! So psyched to be knitting my first sweater vest with the help from a class Jeanetta Alberta Osterhoudt and Gabrielle Augustine . Of course I’m partial to doing my projects with Clean Cashmere but this one required a bulky weight yarn . It’s actually a bit challenging to find an American natural bulky weight yarn, but lucky for me Jill Zielinski has been a yarn show booth neighbor and I knew Jill’s American sourced cormo yarn would create the sweater vest I will never take off this winter . Cormo is an amazing wool . Clean Cashmere we blend Cormo with our cashmere for our Americana yarn line . Two stand outs for this natural fiber , great length for a consistent spin and fabulous loft for smoosh factor ! Another added value of this yarn is it supports the American natural farm to fiber industry .
Winter just got a little cozier 🤍🧶
