Private Cabin (Dog Friendly) near Beach, Golf, Spa, and Live Music
Welcome to The Deer Den located in Fontana-at-Geneva-Lake! This cozy cabin is nestled in the Indian Hills neighborhood which is a within one mile / 15-minute walk to the Boat Rental, Fontana Beach, The Abbey Resort and Abbey Springs Golf Course. Please also bring your favorite four-legged family member, they like to unwind too!
The Space:
Our cabin is the perfect homebase for a tranquil escape – relax at the Avani Spa - Abbey Resort, play a round of golf at Abbey Springs, explore the top tier restaurants and shopping district of Downtown Lake Geneva, or go for a bike ride/walk on the paved trails along Geneva Lake all the way down to the beach! For adventure seekers/kids, you can rent a boat nearby and enjoy Lake Geneva’s favorite pass-time with loads of water activities. The cabin features a unique outdoor space that overlooks a stunning wooded area, where you might see our neighborhood Deer family. Enjoy a relaxing evening with nature, fire up the propane grill and sit at the patio table/firepit (don’t forget the marshmallows!).
Once you are inside, you’ll be greeted with a warm cabin aesthetic and instantly feel right at home. Enjoy a classic board game, Foosball, novel, or jigsaw puzzle. High-speed internet (WiFi) is included, so feel free to extend your stay and “work from home”. There is (1) Smart TV in the living room where you’ll be able to access your personal apps and stream your favorite shows.
There are two formal bedrooms; the first room has (1) Queen Bed, and the other room has (2) Full Beds. There is a third room with a Bunk Bed (2 Twin Beds), and the Living Room couch folds down into a futon, so there’s plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably (6 maximum).
This cabin has (1) Bathroom, which features a stand-up shower with a built-in Bluetooth speaker (HOMEWERKS). We also have a hair dryer and steamer for your clothes, so no need to pack those bulky items! There is a washer and dryer available to use during your stay and we’ll provide a starter pack of detergent / dryer sheets.
Our kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, wine opener, pots, pans, cooking utensils, microwave, and a Keurig Duo – make sure to bring your own filters / coffee for the carafe and we’ll provide a starter pack of K-Cups for the single serve. Purified drinking water is available through the refrigerator dispenser - perfect for filling up water bottles for a long round of golf or a beach-day.
The Deer Den is the perfect opportunity to host your next golf getaway, ladies’ weekend, or family adventure…and don’t forget your dog!
Other things to note:
• All guests must be 25+ to rent.
• 6 person max.
• Parking is available for a maximum of three (3) vehicles. Street parking is not available in this neighborhood.
• There are six (6) complimentary beach passes to Fontana Beach for use during your stay.
• Dogs are welcome at the property on a case-by-case basis. They must be leashed at all times outside the cabin.
• The indoor fireplace is seasonal and not available for use between April-October.
• Security cameras are located only on the exterior of the property for the safety of our guests.
• The home is all one level; however, there is a 2” step into the living room and a separate 2” step into the bathroom area, so please watch your step. These have been marked with black paint.
• Drinking water is available through the refrigerator dispenser. The water is purified through a brand-new (reverse osmosis) filtration system. This system is designed to bypass the filter in the refrigerator, so please don’t be alarmed by the filter icon/signal…this is how we keep the water pure!
