The POOL IS OPEN!

This is an FYI post for anyone camping this weekend… There has been an issue with the truck bringing water to open the pool and there has been an issue with chemical delivery. On top of that the inspector has a family member having major surgery Thursday and she cannot confirm if she will be able to be here before Friday to inspect. Once the water gets delivered we will be ready for inspection and just waiting on her. The water has been too cold to swim in anyway, but I’m sure there are people that will brave the temps. We are keeping our fingers crossed but are really at the mercy of several things falling into place at the right times. I will keep this page updated, so keep watching.

We finally have power so I can update everyone on our status. We were hit hard by Helene, but we are safe. We had no damage to our house or the park. When you see pictures of the devastation in other areas all I can say is that we were truly blessed. Yes, we were without power, water, phone, and internet, but we survived. We have several generators so we were able to alternate providing power to freezers and a few outlets for lights and TV. All said and done we are grateful for the linemen that are working tirelessly to restore power across the southeast.
We are also thankful for everyone’s thoughts and prayers for us and for taking time to check on us.
