School may be back in session... but summer isn’t over on the Russian River. ☀️🛟🌲

Some of the best river days of the year are still ahead - warm weather, beautiful water & plenty of time to squeeze in one more camping trip before our season wraps at the end of October.

If you want to do the classic Russian River float, River Bend is THE place to stay. 🙌

🛟 Go big: Put in at Steelhead Beach for a 3-4 hour float down the Russian River.

☀️ Keep it easy: Put in at Sunset Beach & float 45-90 minutes right back to our own River Bend Beach.

Then just grab your tube, walk back to your campsite & settle in for the night. No loading everyone back into the car. No complicated logistics. Float → beach → camp. That’s the River Bend way.

This has been one of our best seasons yet - incredible weather, packed Saturdays, happy kids & so many beautiful days on the river…and we’re not done yet!

River Bend’s summer season runs NOW through the end of October, so come sneak in another little piece of summer while you can. ☀️

(Our RV sites stay open year-round! Tent camping, glamping, VW Buses & our seasonal kids activities continue through the end of October.)

School may be starting soon, but summer isn’t over at River Bend. ☀️🌲 We’re open through the end of October & there’s still so much time to come play, explore and slow down with us.

Float the Russian River. Swim at our private beach. Complete the scavenger hunt. Climb at the treehouse. Make some friends while making a lanyard. Watch an outdoor movie as the sun goes down, then head back to camp & sleep under the stars. ✨

When you’re ready to explore beyond River Bend, wander beneath the ancient redwoods at Armstrong Redwoods Reserve, take a scenic drive out to Goat Rock Beach, play a round at Northwood Golf Club, or spend the afternoon wine tasting at some of Sonoma County’s world-class wineries.

There’s plenty to do here.

But maybe the #1 thing to do at River Bend is… nothing at all.

Put the phone away. Sit by the river. Watch kids play. Listen to the trees. Catch the sunset. Stay up late roasting marshmallows around the campfire.

It’s a little off the beaten path, but that’s all part of the charm. Less than 2 hrs from San Francisco & you are transported to a world away. River Bend Resort offers a beautiful, quarter-mile stretch of Russian River frontage, with a gentle current & water that goes from very shallow to very deep - making it a great spot for swimming, paddling, fishing & more!

We are THE spot to float the Russian River. 🛟
It’s the kid of spot where kids spend hours catching minnows, collecting tiny clam shells & skipping rocks. Where you float past paddleboarders & canoes, wave to people floating by in tubes & maybe spot a turtle, river otter, or family of ducks.

Maybe you’ll discover a hidden rope swing or find the perfect rock to jump from. Maybe you’ll do absolutely nothing except float downstream with the current.

The best part of summer isn’t just the sunshine - although we have plenty of that - it’s the people who make it so special. ❤️🇺🇸
Thank you for choosing River Bend to celebrate, relax, unplug & make memories with the people you love. We don’t take it for granted that so many of your family traditions happen right here along the river with us. Happy Fourth of July! River Bend Resort is just 1.5 hours from San Francisco & is conveniently located for an easy and fun weekend getaway for Bay Area families!
