We offer RV sites, tent sites, buses and cabins for groups of all sizes. Located right on the Russian River, we have many offerings including a general store, an old fashioned gaming arcade, horseshoe pits, full bathrooms with hot showers (coin op for water conservation), and a lovely beach. We have a complimentary air pump station and coin op washer/dryers. We sell propane, firewood, ice cold b**r and camping essentials.

Attention Campers! ☀️
We have just 3 weekends left of our 2026 Camping Season! 🏕️ Fall is one of the best times to enjoy Russian River!
Here are some of our favorite things to do:
1) Float the river (Yes! It’s still float weather!) 🛟💦
2) Fish at nearby Lake Sonoma 🎣
3) W**e taste at Visit Korbel W**ery just one mile away 🍷
4) Hike in nearby Armstrong Redwoods Reserve 🌲
5) Drive to Goat Rock Beach where the Russian River meets the Pacific Ocean for an unforgettable picnic on the coast 🧺

This is fall camping on the Russian River! The beach is as beautiful as ever & it’s still warm enough to enjoy the Sunset Beach —> River Bend Beach lazy river float! 🛟 All the fun of summer but without the crowds. We are enjoying some of the best fall weather we have ever seen! Come join us as we head into our last few weeks of the season!

Tips for a perfect float:
1) Sunscreen/hat - don’t be fooled that it’s October - the sun is still strong & you can still get a sunburn
2) Bring a tube or buy one in our shop - we have a variety of options starting at $25
3) Use our air pump station to inflate your tubes fast!
4) Borrow a life jacket if you need (we have them in all sizes at the beach trail head!)
5) Pro-tip: leave your beach towels on our beach so you recognize where to get out. If you pass River Bend Beach you won’t be able to get out again for quite a while. (Trust us - it happens more often than you might think!)

Today marks the first day of fall & if you ask me, the most magical time of year on the Russian River. 🍂

The pace changes almost overnight.

The kids are back at school (ours too!) The summer crowds slowly dwindle. The river gets quieter. Mornings are cooler, the sunlight turns golden & little by little the leaves begin to change color all around us.

But everything we love about this place is still here.

The w**eries are pouring. The restaurants & little shops are open. The afternoons are still made for sitting by the river, floating when the weather allows, lingering around the campfire & tucking in to your cozy cabin at night.

After such an incredible summer, there’s something really special about these last few weeks. The exhale. A chance to take a breath before the season changes again.

We have just a few weeks left before our camping season comes to a close on October 25.

We are having an absolutely gorgeous weekend here on the Russian River! Only five more weeks until we pack it all up for the season. Everyone talks about summer on the Russian River.

But this might be our favorite part.

Cool mornings.
Warm afternoons.
Empty stretches of beach.

Just five weekends left before we close for the season.

Then these gates stay closed for campers until April.

School may be back in session... but summer isn’t over on the Russian River. ☀️🛟🌲

Some of the best river days of the year are still ahead - warm weather, beautiful water & plenty of time to squeeze in one more camping trip before our season wraps at the end of October.

If you want to do the classic Russian River float, River Bend is THE place to stay. 🙌

🛟 Go big: Put in at Steelhead Beach for a 3-4 hour float down the Russian River.

☀️ Keep it easy: Put in at Sunset Beach & float 45-90 minutes right back to our own River Bend Beach.

Then just grab your tube, walk back to your campsite & settle in for the night. No loading everyone back into the car. No complicated logistics. Float → beach → camp. That’s the River Bend way.

School may be starting soon, but summer isn’t over at River Bend. ☀️🌲 We’re open through the end of October & there’s still so much time to come play, explore and slow down with us.

Float the Russian River. Swim at our private beach. Complete the scavenger hunt. Climb at the treehouse. Make some friends while making a lanyard. Watch an outdoor movie as the sun goes down, then head back to camp & sleep under the stars. ✨

When you’re ready to explore beyond River Bend, wander beneath the ancient redwoods at Armstrong Redwoods Reserve, take a scenic drive out to Goat Rock Beach, play a round at Northwood Golf Club, or spend the afternoon w**e tasting at some of Sonoma County’s world-class w**eries.

There’s plenty to do here.

But maybe the #1 thing to do at River Bend is… nothing at all.

Put the phone away. Sit by the river. Watch kids play. Listen to the trees. Catch the sunset. Stay up late roasting marshmallows around the campfire.

Come enjoy the slower side of summer. 🌲🦆🌊

If Summer had a headquarters, this would be it! The Russian River has been a Bay Area summer retreat for “those in the know” for generations! It’s a little off the beaten path, but that’s all part of the charm. Less than 2 hrs from San Francisco & you are transported to a world away. Come for day use at our beautiful beach any Sunday - Thursday to beat the heat with a refreshing dip in the Russian River. 💦 Or choose one of our tent sites, cozy cabins, vintage VW buses, or RV sites - there are many ways to stay at River Bend!
