-Stroll through CDRI's 18 acre botanical gardens, which include a cactus museum and pollinator garden.
-Hike 5 miles of desert mountain trails.
-Relax in a rocking chair on the Powell Visitor Center's wrap-around porch.
-Furry valentines are welcome on a leash.

CDRI is located 4 miles SE of Fort Davis, Texas.

Cozy and private, the Longhorn Casita is a quaint 1950s guest house that's been recently renovated for a fresh, clean feel. Pet friendly, the back door with dog door opens to the small fenced dog yard. The vintage kitchen is fully stocked with all the needed equipment and cooking basics. At bedtime, there is room for 2 adults in the queen bed and if you don't need complete privacy (there is no door to the bedroom) 2 kids can sleep in the living room on the pull out chairs that become cots.
