Freemasonry teaches moral lessons through allegorical plays and symbols using the tools of operative masons. Masons seek to improve themselves and help others by showing a way to improve their lives. Freemasonry is many things - courtesy in society - concern for the unfortunate -fairness in work - forgiveness for the penitent - honesty in business - help for the weak - kindness in the home - love for one another and above all: Reverence for God.

General information

Freemasonry is the oldest of the world's fraternal organizations. Membership is open to all men of good character who believe in a Supreme being. A Freemason is encouraged to do his duty to God, to his family and those who are dependent on him. He is to help his neighbors through charity and service. None of these ideas is exclusive to Freemasonry, but all should be universally acceptable and Freemasons the world over are expected to follow them. No religious test shall ever be required of any petitioner for the benefits of Freemasonry other than a steadfast belief in the existence and perfection of God. No Lodge in this jurisdiction will receive any candidate without the acknowledgment of such a personal belief.
