Ever wonder what an alligator actually feels like? While feeding Darth Gator and the rest of our rescued alligators in the pit, Devin gives you a closer look. Much of an alligator’s body is protected by hard bony plates called osteoderms that act like natural armor, while other areas are much softer and have an almost leathery feel.
