The Colonies RV & Travel Park A scenic RV park at historic Fort Monroe on the Chesapeake Bay — steps from beaches, trails, and America’s oldest stone fort.

Close to Colonial Williamsburg and Virginia Beach! We proudly offer thirteen RV spots, each named after one of the thirteen original colonies. Each RV site is equipped with its own water, electricity, and sewage hookups, all conveniently located right on the site. We support both 30-amp and 50-amp connections to accommodate various needs. Additionally, we have 10 overflow spots available that offer water and electricity as well. For tent campers, there are plenty of open, shaded, and protected areas to choose from surrounding the RV area. The area is perfect for singles, couples, or large gatherings as everything is within a short walking distance from the water. The Country Store is stocked with camping supplies and amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, movie room, eating area, bathhouse, and more. Act fast and book your spot online or by phone. The Supernova International Ska Festival is coming to Fort Monroe this weekend, and we’re kicking things off early with a special Music by the Bay show! 🎶

Join us tomorrow, September 10, at the Bandstand for a FREE show featuring Lloyd Parks with United Souls Band and LionsBridge from 6-7:30 pm.

🌮 Tres Compadres and Sommer Freeze will be on-site with food and treats, while community organizations and nonprofits will be there to connect with you from 5–6 PM.
