From The Moment I Checked In, I Felt Like I Had Stepped Into A Story. The Owner Was Warm And Welcoming, The Kind Of Person Who Makes You Feel Like You’ve Been Friends For Years. The Rooms Were Cozy And Clean, With A Rustic Feel That Fits The Surroundings Perfectly. You Can Practically Hear The History In The Walls, With The Appalachian Trail Just Around The Corner And The Bear Mountain Bridge Within Walking Distance.

It’s The Perfect Spot For Hikers, Travelers, And Anyone Looking To Disconnect And Breathe In A Bit Of Hudson Valley Magic. If You’re Passing Through, Don’t Just Drive By...Stay A While. You’ll Be Glad You Did.

So excited to announce the Bear Mountain Bridge Motel has again earned the distinction of Air BNB Super Host! This is not easy to do but with our impeccably clean rooms and amazing customer service we are so proud of Grandma and Poppa O’Dell who keep things in tip top shape for our guests!

We want to thank you all who reached out to us to check on our family and our business as our town was recently devastated by massive flooding Sunday night and Monday. We had many bridges and roads collapse, mud and rock slides, and sink holes around our community.

We were very lucky and while we took on water in our basement there were many other friends and neighbors much worse off. We have received love and concern from our prior guests who we treat and love like family.

Our former guests from as far as Australia have checked on us and we are so greatful for their concern and that they have had us in their thoughts.

Our community is strong and resilient and we will repair and push on. Send us love- but most of all- send us GUESTS! (Just kidding- we are totally full of lovely guests right now- but send us future guests!)
