Dear Owners of Lahaina Inn Resort Condo Assoc, Inc.,
We are writing to provide clarity regarding the upcoming meeting scheduled for February 26th at 7:00 PM ET. We have received several questions from the membership and want to ensure everyone has the correct information to participate effectively.

Proxy Submissions To ensure the meeting runs smoothly, we are asking all owners to return their proxies as soon as possible to [email protected].
We strongly encourage you to submit your proxy before the meeting date. With nearly 1,000 potential participants, the logistics of attempting to take a live vote during a virtual session would be extremely difficult and time-consuming. Submitting your proxy in advance ensures your vote is counted without technical delays.
Instructions for Completing the Proxy Signature To ensure your proxy is valid, please address the signature section as follows:
Owner Signature: The owner must sign the proxy.
Multiple Owners: If there are multiple owners for a single unit, you must either:
Have all owners sign the proxy; OR
Designate one owner as the signor and complete the "Certificate of Appointment of Voting Representative" sheet located immediately after the proxy in the document.
Purpose of the Proposed Amendments The primary goal of the proposed amendments for both phases of the resort is to modernize our governing documents. Specifically, these changes will:
Align with Florida Statutes: Bring our documents up to date with current state laws regarding "economic waste" or "impossibility" provisions.
Simplify Future Actions: The amendments will adjust the threshold required to pass a plan of termination. Currently, our documents require a 75% "yes" vote; these changes would update that requirement to a simple majority of 50% + 1 of the owners.
